I owe a lot to my parents for the talents and ambitions that I have, both of them are extremely talented artists and are/were teachers of their craft. I started out drawing pictures of my favorite cartoon characters, then moved on to comic book super heros and athletes. I knew at a very young age that people were my favorite subject.

I went to college at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. I studied New Media Design, and gained a lot of knowledge in the areas of graphic design, web design, videography and photography. But I also never stopped drawing, and what I learned at RIT helped me push my artwork further, adding elements of graphic design and graffiti to my work.

After graduating from RIT in 2005, I started working at a training company in Rochester called Ardent Learning. At Ardent I do a lot of interface design, animation, and some print layout. I've also gained a lot of experience in working with clients under tight deadlines while at Ardent, something that has taken my professionalism and drive to new levels.

Despite my degree and occupation, my true passion has always been illustration. It feels like I've always been an illustrator, and it's something I will never give up. My goal is to break into the editorial illustration field and see what happens from there. I love what I do, so fame and fortune will never be what drives my passion.
